Washington is in discussion with several Western partners about outright ending trade with Russia. The debate is occurring as the US-led economic war on Russia has failed to stop Moscow’s war machine in Ukraine.
According to Bloomberg News, members of the Group of 7 (G7) are considering banning exports to Russia. The debate is occurring among member states – the US, Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the European Union – ahead of an international summit in May.
According to the data, Russian LNG supplies to Japan grew by 211.2% in quantity compared to August 2021. In terms of value, imports of Russian LNG soared by more than 380%.
Currency volatility in 2022 played a factor in the “value” of imports. Also according to trade.gov:
Japan is once again the world’s largest LNG importer as of August 2022. The country has imported 4.3 billion metric tons—or approximately 10 percent—of its LNG from Russian suppliers this year.
So it also stands to reason whyMitsui, a Japanese bank, who recently worked with Glenfarne (financing EnfraGen in 2018, whose parent is owner of Texas LNG), is now the majority owner of a Texas-based operation for LNG export as of April 20th. (And as one noted, the Bidens are likely deeply connected with Glenfarne - either by direct ownership or a recent divestment payoff of $60,000,000.)

Isn’t it interesting how all these energy markets are re-aligning their deals? And Western players are installing censorship regimes, prosecuting people that don’t agree with them (idiotic hate speech laws), and cudgeling in authoritarian policies the Global South has pretty much in place, but without all the woke-ism? And lest we forget, the Chinese aren’t down with the climate narrative - at all.
One, in late 2022, put together a tell-all graphic that summarizes the highlights of the END STATE desired. The RESET is not about you, the plebe, getting any better life. It was always about creating fasco-communist technocratic hellhole for all of remaining Western Civilization, guised as for the good of the planet, under a climate/health/equity ruse and irrational rubric.
Meanwhile, the other side of the world, is gladly putting together their deals with hard assets (gold, land, lng, oil, mineral deposits, manufacturing might, technology) and with those resources behind them, THEY KNOW, it is all over for the West.
The Western debt loads and lack of resources (especially in Europe) all but make this a fait accompli.
I am not applauding this - rather - one must really see how these parasites operate. Just moving their investments around the world chess board to satisfy their desires for maximizing profiteering. Who they slaughter in the process is much ado about nothingTO THEM.
