Who Are the Brave Leaders Now?
One grew up wanting to be a pro baseball player. I watched the sport through the eyes and voices like Mel Allen & Vin Scully. I learned how to “turn two” from Ozzie Smith and Ryne Sandberg. I wanted to bat like Rod Carew, Carl Yastrzemski or George Brett, probably all rolled into one. I watch double-headers on Saturdays with the Dodgers, Cardinals or the Kansas City Royals. Those men on the diamond were the leading men that one lacked in one’s own life, at age thirteen, as my biological father faded from my life and my grandfather died on the Fourth of July, 1986. Thereafter, though my mother was the bravest, most courageous and doggedly persistent soul in one’s life, teenage boys need guidance from a man, at times. As we now know, such “sports” men don’t necessarily have much bravery or courage of convictions as the present-day situation so desperately needs.
It is not completely their fault – the ones that shoot hoops, throw passes, or knock a ball over a fence for “a living” are not really “role models” as Charles Barkley said many years ago. Many though make a big show (like Lebron James) of their virtues or desires to be lauded for their “stances”, but rarely take any hard stances against the current propagandists on television. The ones that do – are few and far between – and we should commend them, if their actions remain consistent. Many have disappointed – Drew Brees – reversing course, and apologizing for their thoughts and words, instead of owning their stances.
Hollywood – another entertainment nexus – is much worse. The depth of depravity there, and now, political critiques of independent creators that muster the courage by taking on challenging subjects like child trafficking, prison camps in China [Link], drug smuggling and illegal migration at the U.S. border, or the transgender agenda, don’t do it for praise, or profit.
They don’t have big budget film effects; an “all-star” cast; or a marketing budget to get the normie population in the theatre to consider and reflect the depth of amorality that walks this Earth in search of human souls to enslave and destroy for profit. Those independent producers, writers and directors won’t get to the Oscars – “once” a place to recognize truly remarkable storytelling and emotionally impactful filmmaking – but now, is just: a cookie-cutter award ceremony where the obvious ooze of obsequiousness appears and flaunts readily a privileged life from the red carpet to the after-party of drug-induced debauchery.
BUT, the bravest people are the ones that tell their employers “NO” and lose their jobs because they don’t want to fit into a cookie-cutter life scored by ESG or DEI metrics. The brave people are the ones that get de-platformed, de-banked and censored (by their government’s orders) everywhere. When one loses their job, their friends, their savings, and their voice for not rolling over and playing nice with The Narrative™ that is indeed courage. In this 5th gen warfare (information being the key control vector), one faces these attacks against their values, once readily desired, to maintain society’s growth and well-being, at their personal peril. Such grinds up so many souls as well.
This too is a rare quality in the face of a planet stuck with parasites for leaders. Such people spend more time crafting “messaging” and less (or no) time putting their hands on problems – literally involving themselves in the betterment of society. Instead, they see themselves above this task – more about delegating, deflecting, deferring and denying any such things despite the problem being readily identifiable, and more importantly: easily solved through simple and rational methods. But these controlled politicians dance for money from cozy and slimy CEOs & NGOs that pad out the pol’s political action committees, keeping their “stooge” in line. The Agencies are even worse – as the Biden’s Alphabet Intel groups request censorship authority of: We the People. This is worldwide as well.
We need more bravery and courage in these times than is comprehensible to most. We need leaders – in all facets of society – but critically though: we need to be rid of the sludge around the world that thinks it is visionary and making good decisions. These international and national politicians actually know their agenda is unpopular with most; once it is revealed. This is why the propaganda machine has increased to levels no one sane and discerning of reality can deny.
We have to start locally. Voice our displeasure in the best ways available. We must create alternative networks for commerce, trade, information and education. We must eventually deconstruct this worldwide beast system – centralized power of government and governance that makes these political, ideological, and agency-obsessed souls so malevolent – as absolute power corrupts absolutely.
We have to find a unique bravery that doesn’t come with payoffs or glory or recognition. It comes with sacrifices, pain, responsibility, defeats, despair, and long-suffering that once was the norm of our forefathers and ancestors in the United States and abroad. There will be days that leave us in a pool of sweat and tears, but with our blood still running hot, and able to endure the next moment in this war we must win at all costs.
