Welcome to the Club: Donald John Trump, the 45th (& last) President of the United States of America

Trump joined an exclusive club today. There are millions that have the label “convicted felon”, but none have been the most powerful man sitting atop the U.S. Executive Branch that controls the Department of Justice and U.S. Military that once saved all Humanity back in 1940s from the murderous Nazis and the imperialistic Japanese. (See Endnote.)

The charges, all 34 of them, were tied back to some hush-money distributed to a second-tier pornstar that Trump slept with once in the mid-2000s, and Trump’s lecherous and convicted of lying lawyer Michael Cohen that got sloppy seconds on Stormy. Thereafter, through some novel legal hocus pocus, the 2016 election was somehow implicated (even the jurors were left to their own devices on what the crime was, with 53 pages of instructions read to them, but not given to them for deliberation).

Meanwhile Trump’s opponent (Hillary) was doing her own election rigging (and able to escape legal jeopardy over her destruction of U.S. Government emails – and actual crime and tied to National Security importance.) This leaves aside her funding of Russia collusion hoax with FBI support and resources and intentional biases. These were reported as legal services.

Trump’s election case revolved around attaching legal jeopardy to actions that are not illegal to do. (The pornstar didn’t allege Trump assaulted her. She just introduced titillation to the clownish proceedings that took place.)  Trump’s other BGY-based cases – in New York State as well - were tied to E. Jean Carroll flimsy assault case from 1995 or 6 (she can’t recall the year, but trust her!) and the valuation of a Mar-a-Lago real estate loan that he paid back in full. In the latter, there isn’t a victim complaining – just a state-led complaint. Both generated enormous judgments payable to the STATE.)

One knows what it is like to be in the convicted felon club. I served 27 months in jail and prison on a stalking charge brought forth in July 2001 (violations of a protective order by email from April 10^th-30^th) after a misdemeanor invasion of privacy charge – regarding email sent by me on November 1, 2000. (Indiana: 49G17-0107-CF-155201)

At the earlier time, the situation involved my failure to ignore a response email on October 13, 2000 that came with brutal rejection, gaslighting and legal threats regarding a friendship-relationship gone bad. (I didn’t handle any of this well. I felt suicidal and drove off to Kansas like a wounded dog.)

I was (and still am) a virgin. And at that point, I was a recovering alcohol and had attempted suicide (75 pills) in March 1999 while in the United States Navy. That too was rooted in my father’s felony conviction in 1988 (served at Ft. Leavenworth) on a heinous crime. As an only child, with a mother busy trying to keep food on the table in 1988 and her son out of the same path that swallowed up her ex-husband (met in the Marine Corps), I didn’t succeed completely; or rather, at all.

I failed just 4 years removed from completing an industrial engineering degree program at Purdue. I spent nearly all of 2000s in jail, on probation and delivering papers overnight for the Hammond Times.

Recently, one’s personal failings came back into view – right as my daily living circumstances could not be worse. My homelessness came out of a decade without getting drunk, getting a few engineering jobs and contracts, and being more settled about one’s personal and family past. People offered assistance in regards to some of that – some were more reasonable, others required a trust I will never have for others. (I don’t trust anyone, really.)

My criminal conviction at the cusp of the Aughts (00s) came back around too. This as I became an investigator off the Hunter Biden’s laptop, 2 LNG export projects and Xiaopeng Rick Niu’s emails with Hunter about Project White Light, my Substack profile got attention of a top investigatory/journalistic outlet based out of Florida. (They have published New York Times bestsellers…despite their political leanings.)

They seemingly were impressed with my work, but asked about my 20-plus year old felony conviction. They wanted me to take down a Substack post regarding my experience inside the joint. I didn’t. After a visit made in February 2024 (via a 6 hour bus ride to Michigan – since I didn’t have any other way), I got the cold shoulder.

Then, I got mixed messages via Telegram over whether they would do a contract. Finally, ghosted. (It appears, as they asked me to do free work on the invasion at the border, I was to continue to render such services, for as long as the hope of a job existed. 2 months of Telegram tag was too much for me.)

Telegram is not my jam.

My second instance was a blessing with caveats that came almost instantaneously. The nature of my conviction triggered the family of the person I did not court (for any assistance) but I became aware of only months after my October 27, 2023 Substack. She (and her husband) had an opportunity for me to help them clean out a basement in another state. I took them up on the offer, in part, due to the enormous generosity towards my mediocre meanderings made here on Substack. (They were trying to do the Christian thing.)

In trying to get me back on my proverbial feet, a valid identification (I let my driver’s license lapse - it is expired, but I have zero points on it), and maybe even a place to stay, their family freaked out. There is plenty more to this story – it involves wills, declining health of two septuagenarians, a thriving business, and long-standing battles that I have only a rather narrow and one-sided aspect of the entire family story. So it is with all these situations.

The younger folks were afraid for their parent’s lives. I can understand that. I never stayed in the helpful parties’ residence (have been at a hotel since April 13^th) and have always been just a few days away from going back to my homeless place of choice: West Lafayette.

Life in a box

I am leaving tomorrow after filling up 40+ plastic containers and sorting through thirty to fifty years of her memories surrounding her family. I feel sorry for her having to even contemplate all that history, her family’s as well, but the task has run its course.

One did the same in late July 2023, a decade plus of my own stuff was packed up and set out by the dumpster outside the last apartment I will likely ever have. My stuff was nothing special (or of high value, unlike my recent benefactor’s potentially is with care), but I had stories tied to books and belongings.

I had my mom’s ashes that I did not inter yet. I had her urn from July 1, 2011 to August 1, 2023. I had plans for her headstone alongside my grandparents. But of course, my perpetual failure cycle caught up with me yet again.

My mom’s ashes wound up in the Wabash River – floating potentially (if unlikely) to the Ohio; then the Mississippi; and out to the Gulf of Mexico. One can only hope.

Back to Trump.

His conviction is but again a part of a long train of abuses and usurpations. The BLOB in D.C. (and the Southern District of New York, where Hunter Biden’s criminal activities both intersect and spread out to far flung places like the British Virgin Islands and down to Miami, Florida) has it out for Trump. The Republicans are every bit as desirous (or treasonous) regarding Trump as the Democrats, if for different (foreign wars) and similar reasons (money towards corruption pots). The BLOB Agencies, think tanks, institutions and universities certainly don’t want a President with every reasonable right and desire to investigate, prosecute and defund their long-standing grifts. As such, these BLOB people want a defanged President in charge and/or easily controllable (Biden). The BLOB wants a figurehead that obeys their whims and does not operate for the good of the common people (in the slightest); but instead, operates for the good of billionaires, bomb-loving institutions, and bags of cash to relatives and friends in their network.

Is Trump a Man of the People? Is anyone?

People desire their heroes to be like movies. They want them to be without baggage, or poor choices that everyone apparently thinks they would never, ever make; yet, I can’t find a person on this Earth that hasn’t done such disastrous personal things, at some point, in their lifetime.

They may have a high IQ, all the PhDs and titles one can possibly acquire, and yet: be evil enough to kill many millions, without a single glimpse of justice applied to them. Others, without any degrees, but with billions and billions to spare, can offer software products, web services, and vaccine universally, and do just about the same amount of evil – and walk free and spout bull about climate change. And then, a third group can be completely flawed individuals (might even hurt someone – via email or twitter) and they’ll get hammered over and over for that instance by all sorts of people.

But that is how it works now. That is what the Founding Fathers tried to avoid in their Constitutional design. They made it plausible to mete out proper punishment for proper crimes. But that is ALL gone.

Now, we have contemptuous souls spitting mad and suckered to soil a once Great Nation just so they can say, “We did it! We stopped Trump! We stopped MAGA!”

You can call it Communism.

You can call it Fascism.

You can call it whatever label makes you the most correct in your own mind.

BUT you won’t be calling it The United States of America for too much longer.

The United States had the ability to supply Russia and the rest of the war effort that by time the dust settled, U.S. manufacturing ability was vast and uniquely awesome to world history. Russians and Germans did the most fighting and dying….but the US did the most logistical and scientific support of winning the war.

War is Hell.
