All the discussions about gp120 are not quite right because it is in fact gp 160=gp120+gp41
which is ESSENTIAL in the connection between HIV-1 and SARS-CoV-2 Spike. It is NOT only the furin site, which btw. was there for long time, in the older corona-related viruses.
