The existence of a higher being, labeled a God, has, since a human being could adequately put that into an understandable thought, been the overarching concern to one’s mind. The level at which this concern and quest for concise and neat definition, and that Supreme Being’s role in the daily activities has swamped the conversations, letters, and ideological tomes of minds both highly gifted and torturously mundane. Many seem to think more is better; others, a trite summation that has no great offense or import to anyone. I am not here today to further that conversation or illuminate towards that understanding.
Yes, amen. We keep our faith and trust in Christ and lead with the Spirit. We belong to him, and there is nothing they can do to change that. They don't hear him, they don't see him, they don't recognize who is speaking to them and lighting up their world into day. They will continue on in their fallen state unless they trust in his power to bring them out of it. They will continue to reside in the kingdom of darkness, where man's thoughts are consumed about himself and driven by greed and wealth. Those are the attributes of the fallen kingdom. We have to be a light in a dark place. They are going to recognize and realize that we are different from them because we follow not after ourselves, but are led by the Spirit into life everlasting. They're looking for it, but they can't attain it apart from Christ. If they want to live forever, they're going to have to look to the one who is the giver of life, who breathed on a new creation. They're operating under a false anointing of the devil to be as gods themselves. Until that anointing is replaced with the anointing of the Holy Spirit, they'll remain in their sin, and continue to sin against God and us. They lack the Spirit and the fruits of it that contains love. He puts his love into us, and that is what they are lacking. They love themselves with a worldly love that isn't motivated in the same way that God provides by his indwelling Spirit. He said if they contain not the Spirit, then they are none of his. This is what they lack to see things differently, and unless we can shine a light on it by what is within us, they'll stay in the dark. They'll stay dead. They'll stay hateful, greedy, and selfish. God help us to do what we can to change them by showing them Christ, who provided a way for the Spirit to be given to us. Without him they will forever be lost.

¹ But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you.
² For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.
³ For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.
