Just read Kevin Portteus’s article at American Greatness. It’s an excellent read and turns on how prisons don’t always have bars, but are just simply: one’s institutionalized mindset. One will share personally here and hopes it does not offend my newest subscribers.

I don't understand why the highest rated comment is from someone expressing that they got nothing out of this read. For my part, a lot of this is unsurprising, sad, but true. Sure prison doesn't seem to work to rehabilitate, but society needs a place to put predators so they can no longer harm and steal.
When the article changes to talk about the institutionalized mind set, to compare and contrast what the author saw first hand and described in prison with what he sees today, what comes out of the covid fraud, as part of the continuing goal of "institutionalizing" us all so we completely compliant drones, it says something new and fresh. Something well worth my time.
Now I have a new way of thinking of the mind games that our government is continually playing. It is like being conditioned by the prison system to live in the prison system.
I already figured out through the fraud of the 20 election and the fraud of covid that I live in a banana republic where the government hates its subjects, and resents the effort it has to to put into conditioning them to be subservient. This piece adds to my understanding. The process looks like what happens in prison. Thank you for the metaphor.
Thank you, I get it. What y'all have been through I have seen through a foggy window. The system for those who don't have the will to make something good of it, will keep the 70% in as their slaves (get it out of the 13th amendment). Did y'all know that prosecuting attorneys have zero oversight? They also have more power in the system than judges. Poker game plea deals close 95% of cases and 6--10 % of those inside are innocent. The system sucks. I don't use the acronym DOinJ for nuthin.
Hope is a good thing, ain't it? Also it's good to know that there are legit Injuns in the system using their religion for the tobacco exemption, out in Maryland we had a half dozen of the whitest dudes imaginable with their blankets and morning tobacco.
So between them and the guards having lips in a lot, that led to a fair trade of tobacco that'd been already used but harvested out of trash cans, dried out, then wrapped in cigarettes and sold on the compound.
