Australia LNG Strike Back On. Is US Export LNG Biden's Baby to Hustle OFF of Now?
Energy Policy Worldwide is being altered drastically by 5th gen warfare.
From Zero Hedge:
Meanwhile, Chevron told Bloomberg it has "consistently and meaningfully engaged in an effort" to formalize a labor contract with the unions.Â
In September, strikes at Gorgon and Wheatstone plants - which accounted for 7% of global LNG supply last year (rivals Qatar as the world's largest exporter of LNG) - did not dent exports but sparked volatility in NatGas markets over a potentially prolonged labor action that could have resulted in dwindling supply across Europe and Asia. [My emphasis.]
The US LNG Export market has grown very hot since the Ukraine-Russia War kicked off in February 2022.
The United States became the world’s largest liquefied natural gas (LNG) exporter during the first half of 2022, according to data from CEDIGAZ. Compared with the second half of 2021, U.S. LNG exports increased by 12% in the first half of 2022, averaging 11.2 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d). U.S. LNG exports continued to grow for three reasons—increased LNG export capacity, increased international natural gas and LNG prices, and increased global demand, particularly in Europe. [My emphasis.]
This is the one energy policy the Biden administration doesn’t seem interested in the slightest of shutting down. Unlike Keystone XL or Nordstream pipeline, the Bidens have a personal interest.
One has surmised that here and below (click the pic!)
Biden’s FERC approved Texas LNG (& Rio Grande for Final Investment Decision) in April 2023.
