People don’t like the truth because they must confront that fact and deal with the consequences that will undoubtedly alter their lives and their “feel-good” realities. It is so much easier to ignore things - just let someone else deal with it - delegating the task to someone else so one can go on doing what they want (without consequences). But eventually, one will have to deal with the problem or situation.
It is either pain immediately, or pain much later….the snowball effect applies here too. The longer one puts off dealing with the issue - and it should be noted that most only want to address the current visible effects, never the root causes (that are years or decades in the existence) - the larger and more damage is done to more people - either directly or indirectly.
In the examples above:
Congress has totally lost control of the Alphabets - who threaten them with ramifications tied to either their personal flaws/peccadillos or National Security threats (that the Alphabets cause by intentional laxity and/or misplaced priorities).
Minors are being abused by administrators and teachers that are without personal boundaries and are intentionally feeding the delusions of poorly raised or parented children. When a delusion has uncomfortable ramifications for other minors - the environment is a persistent threat. This is because of catering to extreme presentation of “role-playing” (furries) or also, permanently destructive psycho-sexual intrusions (transgender) by so-called “authority figures”. Sane (those with boundaries and rules that are overwhelmingly agreed upon) parents, students and local law enforcement officials need to close out such radicalized educational environments - and arrest and prosecute administrators and teachers for these CULT and GROOMING tactics.
Question the manner in which people like NPR’s controversial Katherine Maher provide their content at their outlets. Publicly funded, like most K-12 schools are, they are NOT allowed to just ignore the concept of both a limited democracy and a Constitutional Republic. Yet she does…she was groomed for the role she has.
