China most pleased

The de-dollaring by certain countries was a giveaway. Obviously, China has been attempting to build the Yuan to the currency of choice worldwide. Other countries (Japan) have their own reasons, both security and diplomatically-related.

But France? How did they get in the mood?

Chinese national oil company CNOOC and France's TotalEnergies have completed an LNG trade. Approximately 65,000 tonnes of LNG imported from the UAE changed hands in the trade.
