First, Happy Easter! Today was a sunny and bright day, and worth mentioning in these times. I hope all of you had a good day with your various family, friends and tasks you might of planned.
This afternoon, I went for a walk around West Lafayette, Indiana. I live mere blocks from Purdue University, where I once attended and graduated (‘96). Recent construction has turned the campus into an international haven (tuition & food at 40k+ a pop for an undergrad). This pricing is way too low - as places such as The Rise (at State & Chauncey, see map below) are upscale, and contain overwhelmingly, Chinese and Indian cadres from the Global Elite.
But I digress.
I went to the Purdue Memorial Union to get an energy drink, my addiction of choice. I only had cash on me. It has become very fashionable (and CONVENIENT!) to have everyone pay electronically on an honor system. For some odd reason, system down or “resetting,” the Spanish students running the joint (they spoke Spanish to themselves but English to me) could not process a $3 dollar purchase.
So I continued on around campus to locations I know have vending machines. Rawls, Beering Hall, Schleman and Haas (the old Gymnasium now a computer center). Beering pulled their machine - as the floor still reflects the footprint it left. The other three: all rejected payment in $5 dollar bills. (And I tried them and also 1-dollar bills inserted left and right facing. It would receive the bills, but then just spit them back out.)
Now, I know the typical person says, “who cares?” But we are NOT in typical times. This seems to be a petty control measure, barely noticeable. More often than not, a major university has a single contract with a primary vendor on distribution of snacks and drinks. So, something to me, is amiss.
But more substantially, people are trained to ignore things. Or assume there isn’t something wrong. Over the past three years, the energy drink market has been disrupted by the way. BANG! has substantially reduced its footprint in West Lafayette. I know this because I am a consumer of energy drink products. Like people noticing the overt woke in Bud Light now, I notice the curtailment of servicing, selection, and now, the cutting off of vending items on this Easter Sunday. (I also tried a food vending machine - Skittles - no dice there. I know its a Christian holiday - does that stop all transactions? No.)
International Monetary Agenda via France
The French, since the American Revolution, are a declining power that disrupts and betrays the very alliances they are apart of when it suits them. Namely, they never hold up their end of the bargain - and just look for their place in history from it. France was an impetus the last time monetary policy didn’t suit them (1965-1971, converting dollars to gold, and Nixon closed the gold window). So this time, as I posted before, is Not Different.
Macron (with his lesser EU President Ursula Von Der Leyen) visited Paramount Leader Xi Jinping. Xi quickly kicked Ursula to the curb, literally she flew back amongst the plebes, while Macron wiggle himself into pole position inside Xi’s NWO, Shanghai Cooperative, BRIICSS Monetary Extravaganza!
Macron is quoted (from Zero Hedge):
But perhaps most notable was his suggestion that Europe needs to reduce its dependence on the "extraterritoriality of the U.S. dollar," a line which both Moscow and Beijing have been emphasizing.
"If the tensions between the two superpowers heat up … we won’t have the time nor the resources to finance our strategic autonomy and we will become vassals," he said. [My emphasis.]
France has de-dollarized, as I reported about a week ago. More than even China or Japan, by percentage.
Rejecting The Dollar is all apart of the FED NOW, CBDC plan. The controlled collapse is so the sheep can’t run away. (U.S. foreign policy is to “play act tough, take insults,” while the Globalist Parasites restructure their investments towards the BRIICSS Monetary System I discussed, playing off Pepe Escobar’s ongoing analysis below.)
A Gulf source in Moscow, familiar with MbS’ rise and consolidation of power, details the crown prince’s drive to appeal to the younger Saudi generation who idolize him. Let girls drive their SUVs, go dancing, let their hair down, work hard, and be part of the “new” Saudi Arabia of Vision 2030: a global tourism and services hub, a sort of Dubai on steroids.
And, crucially, this will also be a Eurasia-integrated Saudi Arabia; future, inevitable member of both the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and BRICS+ – just like Iran, which will also be sitting at the same communal tables.
From Beijing’s point of view, this is all about its ambitious, multi-trillion-dollar Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). A key BRI connectivity corridor runs from Central Asia to Iran and then beyond, to the Caucasus and/or Turkey. [My emphasis.]
And The RISE of XI as the leading diplomatic force between East and West, is both comical, and a dark omen of things predicted to come. Xi - may just be fulfilling prophecies (if one wants to get Biblical about it) that are destined to come to those of FAITH.
Happy Easter.
Happy Easter Jason!
Happy Easter! I'm so sorry you had trouble, but thankful it was a nice, beautiful day for a stroll and alone time with the Lord. Things are self-automated more and more, and even air for a tire, which I ran into yesterday, was digitized with an incorrect reading and what seemed to be an intended engineered defect that only accepted cards for $2.00. lol I really like cash on hand, but we see where this is going!
