Moderna Patent & Fauci: E-mail from CureVac CEO Sought Clarity "Competitive Reasons"

A Moderna February 2016 Patent filed matches 19 SARS-COV-2 nucleotides exactly

Moderna Therapeutics, Inc patent application was filed for ModernaTX, Inc. in February of 2016: #9,587,003. From a Frontiers in Virology paper published on February 21, 2022, the following assertions are made:

SARS-CoV-2 Spike Protein and MSH3

A peculiar feature of the nucleotide sequence encoding the PRRA furin cleavage site in the SARS-CoV-2 S protein is its two consecutive CGG codons. This arginine codon is rare in coronaviruses: relative synonymous codon usage (RSCU) of CGG in pangolin CoV is 0, in bat CoV 0.08, in SARS-CoV 0.19, in MERS-CoV 0.25, and in SARS-CoV-2 0.299 (9).

A BLAST search for the 12-nucleotide insertion led us to a 100% reverse match in a proprietary sequence (SEQ ID11652, nt 2751-2733) found in the US patent 9,587,003 filed on Feb. 4, 2016 (10) (Figure 1). Examination of SEQ ID11652 revealed that the match extends beyond the 12-nucleotide insertion to a 19-nucleotide sequence: 5′-CTACGTGCCCGCCGAGGAG-3′ (nt 2733-2751 of SEQ ID11652), such that the resulting mRNA would have 3′- GAUGCACGGGCGGCUCCUC-5′, or equivalently 5′- CU CCU CGG CGG GCA CGU AG-3′ (nucleotides 23547-23565 in the SARS-CoV-2 genome, in which the four bold codons yield PRRA, amino acids 681–684 of its spike protein). This is very rare in the NCBI BLAST database.

The correlation between this SARS-CoV-2 sequence and the reverse complement of a proprietary mRNA sequence is of uncertain origin. Conventional biostatistical analysis indicates that the probability of this sequence randomly being present in a 30,000-nucleotide viral genome is 3.21 ×10−11 (Figure 2).

The proprietary sequence SEQ ID11652, read in the forward direction, encodes a 100% amino acid match to the human mut S homolog 3 (MSH3) (9). MSH3 is a DNA mismatch repair protein (part of the MutS beta complex) (11). SEQ ID11652 is transcribed to a MSH3 mRNA that appears to be codon optimized for humans (12). We did not find the 19-nucleotide sequence CTCCTCGGCGGGCACGTAG in any eukaryotic or viral genomes except SARS-CoV-2 with 100% coverage and identity in the BLAST database (Supplementary Tables 1–3).

[2/27/22 Edit: The calculation below on the random occurrence of this is wrong; or at least, misleading. However, with other evidence, regarding the connections, it is very plausible this Moderna patent served as a platform, for build, for what became a Coronavirus of note worldwide. But as a non-technical on this search for evidence and truth, one must stick to what one can prove. Therefore it is not the proverbial smoking gun. Rather, just another datapoint.]

One can say this as a lay person: The statistical likelihood of this sequence randomly being present equals .0000000000321 or a 1 in 31,152,647,975 chance. There is only 7.8 billion people on this planet or roughly 1/4 the value presented. The paper notes this succinctly:

“The presence in SARS-CoV-2 of a 19-nucleotide RNA sequence encoding an FCS at amino acid 681 of its spike protein with 100% identity to the reverse complement of a proprietary MSH3 mRNA sequence is highly unusual. Potential explanations for this correlation should be further investigated.”

CureVac CEO: Pfizer & Moderna

Moderna’s Stephane Bancel appeared in Fauci’s FOIA’ed emails regarding a direct contact by CureVac’s CEO, and long-time executive officer, Ingmar Hoerr. CureVac partnered with Acuitas Therapeutics who also provided BioNTech/Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine with their “propriety” lipid nanoparticle delivery system - a key element - in the development of this vaccine.

The implication that the CEO, on his first day, was contacting Fauci about SARS-COV-2 virus, and mentioning the first named listed on the Moderna patent, but not the company by name, is a bit startling. This special sequence, patented 4 years earlier, and while mentioning “competitive reasons" is against quite a backdrop to the mRNA partnering. Dr. Fauci’s emails further noted this collaboration was surely not coincidental - as his keynote invite shows.

Collaboration Linkages

The timeline we are supposed to believe on COVID-19 was published in Nature in August 2020:

The MAJOR issue with this Nature publication, like EcoHealth’s Peter Daszak’s connection to later “amended” February 19, 2020 Lancet article, are connected authors and incentives, like Eco’s, to maintain that the virus was not man-made. Moderna’s Sayda M. Ebashir appeared on Moderna’s Patent #9,587,003 filed and was author to this paper!

North Carolina’s Ralph S. Baric also would have great reason to present the timeline above to the public given his long association to Chinese bat-master Dr. Shi Zhengli. Nicolas Wade discussed similarly the sequencing rarity of the nucleotides.

Financial Connections

Press Release: Pfizer & Acuitas Licensing (January 10, 2022)

CEO, Dr. Thomas D. Madden of Acuitas, a Vancouver-based company:

“Acuitas Therapeutics is currently working with several high-profile international partners, providing its delivery technology (lipid nanoparticles) to enable new drugs based on nucleic acid therapeutics. These partnerships include BioNTech (which partners with Pfizer), CureVac and Imperial College London, where the Acuitas delivery technology is required to develop effective messenger RNA vaccines for COVID-19.” [Emphasis added.]

Bill Gates 2016 Funding of Moderna (1-month or less prior to Patent #9,587,003), CureVac funding and partnering is not unusual for him. The fact that in the U.S. 95% of vaccines are either Pfizer or Moderna shots, and Canada has 100 million Pfizer & Moderna shots coming until 2024, shows why. Many were keenly invested in this pre-fabricated virus, if the patent aligns. The outright predictive nature of the science seems to point to a manmade release of SARS-COV-2 (Covid-19) onto the world.

This too was noted in correspondence to Anthony Fauci on January 31, 2020. Just days before the Moderna vaccine was prepped and ready.

The question is: will we follow the science, the money, and the motivations to a logical and judicial-binding conclusion.
