One thing, since I am here, is to give some insights into the places and people located near Miami Beach. Now, I am not by nature a beach person – I didn’t grow up hangin’ ten, or five, or even, one. I lived near the water for about 4 months of my entire life. 1 month on a Tim’s Ford Lake near Winchester, Tennessee and 3 months at Virginia Beach (Navy training) were my closest proximities to water daily.

This time is different. I moved here of my own accord. Those other times were due to parental insistence and government orders.
I plan to attempt for this water proximity: photography, videography and podcasting, either early in the morning, or later, after dinner. The heat of the day is quite harsh to be both comfortable, and also: not to be an obstacle in the beach’s daily activity. I also need to acclimate to the weather as well.
Being hurricanes visit, at times, I may also get that experience as well. Trading hurricanes and rain for blizzards and prolonged cold is not bad. Indiana has 4-5 months of random weather. So far: Miami has heat, humidity and never, ever frosty moment. I checked history – it is rare to get near freezing.
I’ll head to the beach after 7pm on the free trolley that circles counterclockwise and clockwise, like hurricanes and southern hemisphere typhoons do.
Tonight: a podcast as I get used to walking the beach alone in spirit while undoubtedly surrounded by a bevy of activities.
Jason,
You're not up the road from me anymore? 😳
