So my adventures on my E-bike Mars are going pretty well. I had my first hiccup about 2 miles from a destination….I got turned around on the country roads and wasted about 3-5 miles of battery life backtracking and getting to my destination… Dying battery. OH NO!
I even planned the route….but its ok. I am alive to tell the tale.
Wednesday Road Warrior
I will be charging sometime between Marathon and Sunoco Gas Station. So I created a ton of maps on the phone —easier than my Google map. (Finger thing takes up time.)
Thursday Easy Peasy Not-so-lemon Squeezy
First 17 miles are easy enough on paper.
Last 8.4 miles are another thing all together. 2 elevation changes where I will be climbing long grades…. Later on, in Kentucky, I have another one to do near I-65. But first this one.
Roll Out the Red Carpet for $58/night
After this stay, I can bounce from Pilot to Pilot (Travel Center) in Kentucky. I expect to be in Tennessee by Wednesday or Thursday at the latest.
